UPDATE**** I checked further, absolute BS, visionworks is NOT in network for ANY VSP PLAN, they stared me in the face and lied to me...
So much fun getting old! My husband needed his eyes checked so I made his appointment. Everything went smoothly until we left to get there and found the bridge was locked up. So I called and Keisha answered and was fine with us running 10 min late even tho they closed in 30 minutes. Once we arrived she greeted us with a smile and told the staff we had called ahead and it was ok to still be seen. She did not act annoyed or frustrated at all. Keisha was a complete breathe of fresh air. She answered All of my questions (I ask a lot) and treated me like an old friend. She was welcoming and did not try to throw me a sales pitch. She explained things in detail. She even joked around. I will strongly recommend Visionworks. It is wonderful to walk into a business and have people treat you like a real person and not like a dollar sign. Keisha made this place worth it!
The staff was wonderful and very detailed in what products they had and the cost of them...Had great deals through my daughters insurance! Very professional and great with adults and kids alike!
We will for sure be back!!
"of course we take VSP" when staffed was asked directly, when we came in for our exam, I'm surveying the coverage's, it was only after I logged into my providers website I saw on the top of vision works docs"OUT OF NETWORK" !!! furious, I insist on clarification before being hustled. "oh, there are SOME VSP plans that we are out of network on".....me-"did you think to mention this BEFORE or anytime DURING our visit today" blank stare/. advice : look very carefully and ensure your benefits are being maximized here, they will stick it to you.
I gathered all the documents we had filled out and out the door we went.
This will be my last visit. They don't place orders for contacts the day of appt 13 days days after they finally ordered trying to get overnight leaving voice mail in after 12 noon. Put lens in glasses and cracked the lens, again reordered and 10 days later still not in another 7 days they should be in, that's 17 days for a delivery of 7 to 10 business days but they got my money. I called to have Dr call me and not. I lost a contact, called to ask if they have a spare, no but other ones would be in Monday, when they weren't even ordered til wed. Insurance is a joke thats why I went to them basically covers very little, so really don't. A whole whopping $5 discount. I would not recommend. Some staff rude with attitudes and non professional.
