I will never go back to this nail salon ever!!! My last pedicure was accompanied by a side of fungus. This is ridiculous & disgusting! Not only that but most of the people that work their are unprofessional and ghetto. This place started off amazing ( I had John & Jessica) and then they hired all the wrong people. What a shame for such a nice establishment...
Shop is very clean and staff is professional. They serve you complimentary coffee, lemonade, soft drinks or water. Ask for Jessica, she is gentle, professional and she takes her time but efficient.
After trying this spot and having an amazing manicure by Charlie I kept going back. The next time I made an appointment but sat for 30 minutes while he did other people's nail and got a poor, rushed job. The next time I made an appointment but he was too busy and gave me to a girl who was barely trained to do manicures, and the time after that was the day before my wedding when I brought in almost 10 people. I had called three times in advance to make all the appointments and understood they couldn't help us all at once. We sat for at least a half hour, then waited in pedicure chairs for another hour.....then I had a girl do a very poor job on my manicure despite having asked for Charlie to do it since it it was for my wedding. He did my mom's but not mine, he took another appointment while I was waiting and I had to go. I was over an hour late for my rehearsal because I had been stuck there all day. Then the young man at the desk had the gall to come to me several times and imply my mother hadn't paid for her manicure and she just left. I was so upset, paid over $100 for services that day and will never, ever go back. It was a nice, upscale place where all the other spots in St Mary's seem kind of bland but I would so much rather go somewhere else for better, consistent service by people who care about their customers.
I was impressed. The prices seemed a bit high but they delivered. Very nice service, they take their time with the details, and make you comfortable. They offer you coffee or tea, hand and arm massage is included in a full set (I've never been that pampered for a full set of acrylics at any salon). Great job!
Set up a spa day for myself and at first glance it looked like a decent place but the experience quickly went south. Spa opened at 10am but the doors were still locked and employees were standing outside at 5min till. There was nothing ready when they opened and didn't seem like anyone was ready to help a customer. The massage room is right next to the front door and break room which makes it very loud and impossible to relax. The quiet and calming music that I expect and get at other spas didn't exist and fought with the loud music being played in the rest of the facility. The nail area is huge and looks like they are more interested in the quantity of people they can get in there over the quality of the product they are providing. It reminds me of a Wal-Mart or strip mall nail place. If you are looking for peace, quiet and relaxation that you would expect from a real spa, this is NOT the place.
